SP SRI LANKA OCIP DAY 12
The team had breakfast at the hotel and left for CSLEC to bade our last goodbyes to the staff at 6am.
The team then left CSLEC and headed for the Sri Lanka National Youth Service Centre at Colombo.
After hours of travelling, the team stopped for a short break at the
Golden Temple of Dambulla, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and later at a restaurant to have lunch.

At approximately 2pm, the team reached the
Sri Lanka National Youth Service Centre at Maharagama (NYSC). We were warmly welcomed by the staff at NYSC and led to the Youth Theatre for a presentation. The talented youths than showed as some traditional dance and music. We were impressed by the moves of the dancers and the drumming of the percussionists.

After the presentation, we had tea with the Mr Lalith Piyum Perera, Chairman NYSC, as well as some of the staff there.

We later took some photos with the staff at the stairway. Alexis and Hadi were even interviewed to share their experience in Sri Lanka!

After that, we left NYSC and headed for Kandy Hilltop Hotel. After hours of travelling, we stopped by a restaurant to have dinner.
We reached Kandy Hilltop Hotel at approximately 10.30pm for a debrief and to rest for tomorrow's climb to Adam's Peak, one of the tallest mountains in Sri Lanka.
